Molybdenum electrode molybdenum nut

Molybdenum (Mo) is often used in the manufacture of electrodes and fasteners (such as nuts) due to its high melting point (2610 ℃), excellent high temperature resistance, good electrical and thermal conductivity, and low thermal expansion coefficient
Product details

1、 Molybdenum electrode

Characteristics

High melting point (2610 ℃), suitable for high-temperature environments such as glass melting furnaces and vacuum furnaces.

Low vapor pressure: Not easily volatile in high temperature and vacuum environments, with good stability.

Good conductivity (about 30% IACS), suitable for electrical discharge machining and plasma equipment.

Corrosion resistance: It has strong corrosion resistance to molten glass and molten metals such as aluminum and copper.

Application Fields

Glass industry: electrodes for glass fiber drawing and liquid crystal glass substrate production.

Electric vacuum devices: electrode components for electronic tubes, X-ray tubes, and ion implantation machines.

High temperature furnace: Heating element or support for sintering furnace and monocrystalline silicon growth furnace.

Electric Discharge Machining (EDM): High precision electrodes used for mold processing.

Common specifications

Shape: Rod shaped (Φ 2~50mm), sheet shaped, customized with irregular shapes.

Surface treatment: polishing, nickel plating (to improve oxidation resistance).

Purity: usually ≥ 99.95% (high-purity molybdenum can reduce impurity volatilization).

2、 Molybdenum nut

Characteristics

High temperature strength: maintains high mechanical strength above 1000 ℃ (better than stainless steel).

Low thermal expansion: Matching with materials such as ceramics and quartz to reduce thermal stress.

Creep resistance: not easily deformed under long-term high temperature environment.

Application Fields

Semiconductor equipment: fasteners for wafer processing equipment to avoid metal contamination.

Vacuum system: high-temperature resistant connectors for high vacuum chambers and particle accelerators.

Aerospace: fixing nuts for rocket engines and high-temperature sensors.

Common specifications

Thread standards: metric (M2~M12), imperial (such as UNC/UNF), customizable.

Surface treatment:

Nickel plating (improves oxidation resistance).

Black molybdenum (surface oxidation treatment to reduce high-temperature adhesion).

Matching materials: often used in conjunction with molybdenum bolts and tungsten bolts.
